Nice game and explanation on the difficulty...
I still can't beat old school Nintendo games, minus Super Mario Bros. But between this Ghosts 'n Goblins, Battletoads and Ninja Gaiden...rrg, reminds me of the frustration that you just don't get these days.

I used to love sitting around in front of my computer all day playing this game a while ago, and now you've brought it to NG? Excellent.
I enjoy the 6-Bit sidescroller style, and that it's not some cheesy 3D Game.
I do have a issue about the hunger bar, however, do to the fact roars use up hunger bar.

so lets see another game created on paint i see? Bill the Demon is about an orange/pinkish demon that eats little demons? i guess. and you have a hunger bar. this game is just. wow. and not in a good way. 1/10 1/5.
