Reviews for "Over There: Segment 2"

Heehee!

Very well done. I loved segment 1 and this was no different. The quirky sense of humor you hold is very nice. I suspect people who aren't very intelligent, however, are not going to find all your jokes funny. I personally loved it, and can't wait for the next three segments! Good luck!

nice

really nice job :D

Best Claymation ever

Keep up the good work!

:D

Haha.
Can't wait for the third one.

These are really cool. I've been waiting for it ever since I first laid my eyes on the preview. That lame TV-intro was great too.

BTW, Dustball's done a great job on the soundtrack so far :P

Extremely short & cheap TV series in the making?

Overall: Good animation and voice acting

Graphics: The clay models were ok. Animation and camera technique was good however, there is bad lighting and several seconds worth of still frames spread out over several half-seconds throughout the movie(such as when the cricket noise is played in one of the scenes near the beginnning of the movie).

Sound: Very good voice acting. I have a little problem with how Nita and Trip yell to each other. They sound like they're doing a supressed yell. A real yell would sound less strained. How do I know? My family yells at each other all the time D:

Violence: There's very little violence but more then in Segment 1.

(Irrelevant: When I watched Segment 1, I expected Trip to get impaled by the pencil when he tripped over the binoculars. I'm too lazy to review Segment 1 though.)

Interactivity: The Slider bar is a big help(it helps me review, yay!) and the hidden clickables was a nice little "easter egg(s)".

Humor: The humor in the movie leans towards a oldschool cartoon type humor with a more modern(geekish) Humor spin to it towards the end. Personally, I liked the scene where Rufus falls because the voice actor for Rufus sounded much like Bluto from "Popeye the Sailorman". However, the scene where Rufus and Nita laugh together is extremely lame(with added false laughter).

Style: The fading and "continuous" end/beginning scenes in the segments is a nice touch and Nita's spike collar is cute. Nothing much else to say, it's neither great nor horrible.
