Excellent!
This emulates the original almost perfectly! Wonderful, wondeful, wondeful is all I can say. I do have 2 very, very small gripes, however:
1. Pipes. They made Mario Mario, and I want some to go down.
2. Those blue shelled underground guys. If I recall, fireball's won't actually hurt them in the original game. I might be wrong though.
Other than that, (to quote the Smipson's Comic Book Guy) Best. Game. Ever.
you're right.. you can't kill the blue underground bugs with fireballs. well im going to put it on my to do list^^

Dude. Dude.. Duuuuuude. This game is great. It really did feel like I was playing SNES. I didn't play it for long because I suck at Mario, but I'm about to try again. Graphics aren't really a ten, but they aren't supposed to be because it is Super Mario =P. Style and Sound perfectly mimic the original. Violence got a three because.. It isn't supposed to be violent? Interactivity ten because it felt alot like the original game, humor 0 because it wasn't supposed to be funny. This is GREAT. Front page/Game of the day/Flash of the day/Flash of the week quality. Great job.

I swear to god i was playing the snes emulator. It was that good and you CREATED fresh levels thats miyamoto-san worthy. Fans of nintendo should bow to your greatness in programming. You even added the feature to add extra mushrooms in case you get hit. My only gripe is that was so good that I was trying to play it as it were the old version, and the physics from this game are a bit different. But once you get used to those you brush off the only dirt from possibly the greatest mario flash game. And it's a DEMO, it's long enough to be the entire thing. Looking foward to the finished version but in the meantime I'll add you and this to my favourites and play it again. =D
