Cant wait til the game comes out but...
The menu was so simple it botheered me...it also bothered me how the best stratedy was just contiually hitting attack. You fix those things and actually make a game out of it...like whoa

I LOVE FINAL FANTASY. and this demo was kinda cheezy, but hell if you come out with a full version of this alot of people are ganna be happy as hell. rofl.

hey man this is pretty sweet, i'm looking forward to the full game.
i no it's only a demo but, lack of battle options and i got the enemy down to zero and it didnt die intill the next hit. u might want to look into that as it may mean the difference between life and death(in a battle of course for all you litteralists out there)

You better finish this. The last good console RPG on Newgrounds was Sinjid. Since this is a demo there's not much to review.
What did bother me was the menu. Couldn't you make the word's highlight or something when you moused over them? The music was appropriate, nothing ruins an rpg like a crappy music score. Especially during a battle sequence. I hate it when there's a slow tempo'd song during a battle sequence. Making this kind of rpg is a hella alotta work,the map, the NPC's, the spell's, the various menu's, the item's, which is probably why such games on Newgrounds are scarce. In short, I did like what you showed me.
Great work
A few things need to be done but it is brilliant otherwise, just make sure there are more spells and maybe a bit of a story or something in the actual game otherwise brilliant.

In the real version the magic list will have a scroll button and there will be many more spells available to learn through the level up menu (I.E. Fire, Bio, Frost, etc.) Thank you for the review.
