Reviews for "MahJong Connect"

Not like any MahJong I have played

I've played MahJong many times and on many occassions before, but Level 1 confused me, I didn't even relise that it was two piles, it confused me a bit, then when I got the hang of it, I found no more connections and wasn't sure what the actual "rules" are for being able to connect two pieces.

Nice but buggy

Good concept and nice graphics. It kept me entertained for hours... however, it became frustratingly apparent that many puzzles cannot be solved. The hints suddenly "grey out" and the game ceases to reshuffle the tiles when no moves are left. This occurs every time on level 3.

FrontNetwork responds:

the bug with hints will be fixed in the next version.

somewhat fun

Even if u don't play majhong games a lot (like me) this is still a pretty fun game for those who like thinking games.

Rahjongg, not Mahjongg, no?

This game reminded me of something I have called Rahjongg-- not Mahjongg. Which brings me to my first point-- Mahjongg is spelled incorrectly in your game. Not a big deal. Anyway, the graphics are lacking hugely. You can barely read the numbers, and the rest of the icons look gritty anyway. I only played through the first two rounds before getting bored of lack of pattern in tile placement. This could have been much harder than it is, so I was a little disappointed. If it does continue to get trickier as you go through the levels, then excuse this review, but anyway, I was a bit bored.

The sound was fine, to me, though I did turn the music off right away. Since Mahjongg is such a peaceful game, maybe you could have put in a more relaxing noise for when a match is made.

I wasn't sure if I liked your addition of making the tiles move forward in the row every time a match adjacent to them is made. I think this made the game much less challenging. Anyway, overall, it was all right.

one problem

good but there is no real logic to this. sometimes you can connect something that wraps around 2 -3 corners and other times you can't. it's stupid and annoying and i think you should like explain the "rules" of how it works in some "instructions" part of the game, rather than just throwing people into the first level like that.
