I might be taking a break from making music games for awhile, i'm not sure yet. Because it's too hard to please everyone song list wise, and these kind of games seem too niche to ever get a really great score on NG with. :/

Honestly, you shouldn't get discouraged by the rather low score and all. I don't really understand why it doesn't get any better.
Anyway, from my point of view, you made one of the most uber-enjoyable game I played for a long time. The choice of music is top notch. Every piece is a delight. The difficulty levels is nicely made.
In short, it was a long time since I was so excited and entertained playing a video game. (Including the semi-crap that goes out on PC and PS2.)
Simple, yet very fun.

This game is roxz!!! its is like DJMAXJP but rock/beatmania style... do you also play djmax? its similar but from asia and it is way harder...
I have DJMAX Portable for psp, it's a good game. I hear they're bringing it to the US soon also.

After i went to a friends house and played guitar hero i was determined to find a game like it on the internet. ( cus i didnt want to buy PS2) i found some gay games like weezer jam session etc... then i found this... it was practically orgasmic!!! exactly what i was looking for, i love the way you put non-mainstream music in it. iv played this game for about a week now and i cant get bored of it. Major props for you cant wait for a newer version.
