Simply amazing.

This is a phenomenal game. The soundtrack is very impressive, love how you have artists I actually know as opposed to nameless DJs like certain rythym games *coughDDRcough*. Anyway, it seems like you've updated your interface since the original MFX (which, by the way, is excellent too) and it helps to improve the experience. It is a little difficult getting used to the scratch notes being on Shift instead of the spacebar, but other than that no gripes with the control. Amazing game, and I'm eagerly awaiting MFX 3 this summer.

Oh, and since you wanted some NG Audio Portal suggestions, I'd like to recommend Can't You See? by Quickbeam and Suck This by Xenogenocide.

I'll check out those songs you mentioned, but I already have most of the songlist figured out for the next game. I'm actually very impressed by some of the songs I found on the Audio Portal.

Very well made game. Difficulty levels are well done, definitely an improvement over the first game. I loved the music keep on rockin man.

the guy whos two reviews below me is such a queer, honestly you try to be all TROO metal and be an ass hole about the bands yet you pick the most sell out bands in the death and black metal scene, seriusly devildriver joo fgt. anyways

Awsome game, but genres anoyed me
1. Slayer is thrash
2, Night Wish synphonic or opra metal (not she was a opra singer)
3. Freedom Call is power metal.
4. Atreyu is gay... cant even slap a genre on that band

my recemendations for a future game

Add power ups for combos
NEEDS MOAR DEATH METAL
NEEDS MOAR BLACK METAL
NEEDS MOAR FOLK METAL (like srsly korpiklaani put it in)
NEEDS LESS GAY! ( take out killswitch and Atreyu)

i liked how you made the game, it was fun and it was a challenge.
A suggestion, the songs should go to the end not just cut out half way through.

To the guy below, just because you don't like the music on the game, doesn't mean you have to take off points. Poor judging skills only results in poor behavior.

good as a game but...

many many many points off for not only the songs, but also how they were classified.

for example, atreyu is not thrash. or metal. it's emo. AKA hardcore.
and nightwish, while it IS gothic, sucks hard.

you want metal, look up opeth, dimmu borgir, devildriver, spineshank, death, rob zombie (industrial counts), carcass, stuff like that.

playlist SHOULD have been:
demon of the fall, opeth, prog metal
progenies of the great apocalypse, dimmu borgir, symph. black metal
bear witness unto, devildriver, black metal
malnutrition, spineshank, nu-metal
superbeast, rob zombie, industrial
burn, throwdown, moshmetal
nemesis, arch enemy, death metal
resurrection, chimaira, death metal.

and i won't even mention (beyond this) your inclusion of power metal.
