the begining looked great but the end...

One thing that would make yuor score get much better is not having the white backgrounds on the sprites. I had te background on my sprites for a movie and it got blamed so fast. Anyways when you put your sprite into flash select it and go up to modify, bitmap, trace bitmap. THen make it 1,1,pixels, and few corners. this should make you able to deleate the white background. other than that i think your movie was pretty good. Very origrnal idea. hope this is of help!

the text affects are good, but lets face it:

its a bad idea poorly executed

its only your first, and the only way to go is up, try writing a few story boards, get an idea down on paper, then come back and blow us away with your improvement

You have potential

You seriously do, you know, with sprite animations. Just learn how to make them like that one Living in GameTown, I don't mean LIKE it, but you know, with backgrounds and different characters, and not random bouncing off of walls.
