Has potential, but needs work I think

I enjoyed playing the game at first, its cool to play an rpg style game, but when I found out i only had 1 skill, and only 3 max skills, I thought that could be an issue. Then I spent all my money on a weapon, and apparently have no way to use it. I clicked items in battle, I clicked my weapon on the out of battle screen, heck i clicked all up and down that bar. Why buy a weapon and have no way to equip it? That really killed the game for me, and I stopped playing once I determined I was not going to figure out how to equip something(if its even possible).

Ok.

It needs a lot of work, such as you not having to go to the skill shop to equip weapons, more quests and the overpoweration of the first enemies.

my review :

add armor, more quests and an ending.

the curve for difficulty of enemys was very unbalenced, perticularly the archers 500 damage special which was stupid to have for the 2nd enemy
if the items were cheaper realitive to the money recived for combat it might help also

I was able to get my hand on all the weapons except the gold sword ... mabey it should exist

the 5 sec wait after every battle was flat out annoying, either get rid of it or add a victory song/dance so its not such a awkward pause

i was able to get my max hp to 1154 but my hp only went to 999
you should fix that (yay for fish)

my attack got up to 340 but i think there was supposed to be a 250 max ... (you got lazy when you implemented the max power and weapon bonuses)

and the persuasiveness did absolutly nothing ( which i got to 41 before not caring)

the inconsistancy in your menus was annoying! the equip items was hard to get to and the previous/back buttons kept jumping around, you need to get a standard format and stick withit for teh entire menu system PLEASE!

having no idea of enemy hp was frustrating and unnessicary!!! you dont have to put up the exact number of enemy hp if you dont want but at least put a bar so you can see how effective your attacks are being!!!

the combat tutorial was soooo dry I skipped most of it. make it interactive if you expect people to read it, or a least put it someplace you could get back to so the users use it as a reference for any questions or reviewing the information once its actually meaningful

i also sugest providing ways of icreasing max rage points, peaking at 300 was inconvienent

uhm.. get charm maxed at start of game and you will not have to talk to the guy in the castle, and also u can convince laila that you do not have the gold sword, and keep it. Thx for the critques, I'll keep them in mind.

well I didnt like it

it was ok i suppose... i didnt really like it but it was a good idea. and you can just get your actionscript skills to make a storage for the online game or data saving or something like that... or high scores, but i dont know i didnt play it.
