Bad graphics, jerky sprite animation and totally ridiculous story... if it can be called a story.
Next time, try harder with the animation and try thinking up a coherent situation for Mario + Luigi to take part in.

1. Well, I tried as hard as I could in the animation, even editting some sprites...
2. This is far beyond what my usually creativity point usually is. I can't think up anything better.
