Reviews for "F.A.C.E Comic maker demo"

This was great!

This game was great. It is all I have to say. :D

JackSmack responds:

Thanks for the review!

Good idea

Vere good idea to make this, try to upgrade this one with more characters

JackSmack responds:

Yeah, I thought it was a top shelf idea... I first thought of doing something like this over a decade ago... at that point it would have been impossible.

Last year I remembered the idea and gave it a shot. I think it could be it's own website with a gallery system... but again that escapes me as to how to do efficiantly.

the highlight of my day.....

well today has been a good day for blamming, but yours went completly the over way you got 4 :). all i think you need to do is add more characters, and add colour and it could become a really high scorer

JackSmack responds:

I thought about adding color... But I think it is better to keep it gray scale... so people can make their own comics and run a bunch on a copy machine and post them around the office or something...

If I add color that means that this will get alot more complex than I can handle currently... perhaps in F.A.C.E. 2.0

Thanks for the good review!

good work jack

this will be a big hit. however two things wrong i discovered with the word bubbles you'll need to fix-

first-you can hardly edit them without dragging it around. you have to actually double click on each word and change it. you shouldn't have to do that.

second-when you do change a word or two in the bubble. then drag the bubble around. it leaves behind garbage for some reason. (letters and specs from where you dragged it).

i know it's not my computer cuz i have 3ghz so i'm not sure how you'll fix that. but to fix the first problem, just make the outter edge of the bubble draggable. not the input text in the middle.

Great!

This is the best thing I've seen all day, I have been voting 0 or 1 until I saw this!
Good: Very original, fun to play with, seems close to professional
Bad: Still seems unfinished, too few characters, The speech bubbles were hard to drag because I just marked the text etc.

I really hope you improve on these points, because the things that are ready are really great!

JackSmack responds:

The speech bubbles pose a problem I haven't figured out yet... I actually made this quite some time ago...

Learned alot more Actionscript in the mean time I might give it a shot.

I plan to have 12 characters to use in total... but I really want to see how well the demo does first to see if it is worth going back and pounding my head against it.
