Reviews for "Crystal Maiden Vs. Lina"

Firstly. This is a great piece. I can tell it took you nearly 14 hours. The fire effect is nicely done and your female forms look good, I also stuggle with the female form so I know what its like.

If I can suggest areas which could be done differently or improved. I think I would have liked to see some random chunks of ice around the Ice mage to balance out the flames.
Theres something about the breasts on the Ice mage that just seems a bit flat. I think if there's a softer gradient on the shadow and highlights. Compare it with those of the fire mage.

Anyway, hope that helps. Really like this piece.

i agree that you should work more on drawing females (especially the tits lel), but other than that, the fire effect is pretty awesome and the drawing in general is excellent.

I can't think of any words to tell ya how amazin' this is.
Eh, "amazin"'s close enough.

Almost epic. But for me Lina looks like she's bald. And their boobs are too highlited, in the middle stage of drawing they looked better. + there are some erased lines on fire texture at right from Lina's boobs + upper from Rilai's left hand. There's a weird shadow behind Rilai's cheekbone. And imo you don't need to accent cheekbones so much.

Characters are somewhat bad-drown, especially faces, boobs and figures. Ears are extremely low compared to their faces. You're right, that you need to get more practice in drawing females. And I mean really MORE.

But the fire effect is briliant! I haven't seen anything like that fire in all my life. And I'm a huge fan of computer games and thus I've seen many fire effects.. But yours is the best of them all combined!
Ice effect looks a little dull, compared to the fire. I think you could draw a little more details in each ice crystal, so it won't be just a blank pixel, but a real small crystal of water.
