Reviews for "Shadows Swallowed Her"

good stuff.

1:25-1:29 made the song for me.

as a drummer i think it would sound a little better if you used a few different crashes more often, it sounds like your really laying into a china alot, but that's just personal preference.

as a guitarist there is nothing i can think of to improve. good work man.

I think heartbreak is an important part of being a good artist. put your passion into your music like this and it really comes through.

Difficulty lies ahead.

This is difficult for me. The beginning's drums didn't sound right to me, after 1:15, it immediately tightened up and poured out pure awesome-ness. The guitar in the beginning filled out really well to build up a dramatic type of tension. The part I have trouble on really though was the 1:58 where it suddenly slams you into a brick wall with no explanation, then continuing on its journey with a nice subtlety, which by the way rocked. This feels like HALF the song is only played, was there supposed to be lyrics for the 1:58 part? That would be a good starting point to start singing this. Nice effort for this though.

mmm. . .

ok im gonna ignore the reasoning of this song and just looking at it at a pure music view, you were really close you getting raged, when i hit 1:15 then i was pleasantly surprised, but my hopefulness for this song was short lived when it only lasted 45 second then when back to more of the same from the intro, to be brutally honest you would have gotten a better score from him if you just submitted 1:15 - 2:00, because that is the only part that is really close to metal , so i only gave you 4 stars for it is only 4/10th metal the rest is just *expletive deleted* so i hope you can submit more "Metal" in the future, sorry if i was a little harsh.
