Nice API.

I think API is really neat and I am very impressed by what some Flash authors have been doing with it in the Flash Forum of the BBS.

I'd say this game is pretty damn cool and by far the best thing I've seen at under 2 kb.

The places that I would suggest improvements are using a more natural 8-way movement for the ship, the 4-way movement seems very limiting, and make some adjustments to the scoring system. It seems a bit frustrating that the farther you manage to get the less score you have until it reaches zero and you lose.

Still a great game and awesome job on the scrolling backround, it looks amazing!

yeah for the controls, i'll change that.

but for the scoring, i leave it as is, otherwise the game is too easy.

this a good start and i can see a great game deep down in this one but put some explosions and sound and maybe a high score board. i was addicted but i have the attention span of a fly

how many layers did you use?
and how did you do the duplicateMovieClip command if you didnt have any symbols? and if you didnt use the dupMC command, how did you have it generate the boxes?

and the controls were sorta annoying. i couldnt go diagonal. i had to wait til i had gone right before i could go up, etc.

i use only one layer.

btw, u can duplicate MC that were created with createEmpyMovieClip... that's what the game is...
