ok here goes...

The reason you got a 5/10 is because the message your flash is based around doesn't make sense.
-How is being sad better then not?
-How is not smiling better then smiling?
-How does being sad make your heart stronger then being happy?
It doesn't make sense. Now if you message was that old cliche line "what doesn't kill us makes us stronger" then it would make a little more sense. I also don't understand why he imagines killing everybody. He is sad and he smiles at a dream of killing people? Im sorry dude, this doesn't make sense. I think these people are agreeing with it and everything because maybe they think they are the only ones who don't understand and don't want to sound stupid.

P.S.
If I'm missing something let me know. It could be me or maybe your just not explaining it right. But, again, I don't care about sounding stupid if you can respond and explain this to me.

at first you need to have sense. OK? I´m not saying that be sad is better than be happy. In the case of the man, yes! because he afford everything, the sadness in his face is to show the other people that he isnt happy but he doesnt say a word to them. So if your situation is the same of him, do the same thing that he did and everything will be allright! if u understand i´m happy, but if u didnt lets talk and u will agree with me...

The idea of the film is to not do anything when something goes wrong with you(everybody just saying shit to him), keep quite, be patient and at the end of your life, you will be the winner. understand?!

This is an amazing serious short. I think it is definitly one of the best on Newgrounds! It is these serious shorts that keep me coming back to newgrounds. Bravo.
