Reviews for "number munchers"

AUGH!

I gave you a five! Whatever gets the math out of my face!

*hides*

authorblues responds:

lol... you amuse me too.
i love people who make me laugh.

*finds and destroys*

lmao reminds me of oregon trail days

didnt this used to be called math blaster or something? i loved it except for the arrow key is kind of sensitive, it jumped 2 numbers sometimes...

authorblues responds:

oregon trail was made by MECC as well. i sorta want to remake that as well, but i dont think that is as much of a challenge, and im currently looking for something else to test my skill with.

math blaster was actually a different game, with a little alien doing a series of math-related minigames, if i recall correctly. i know i used to play it, but i dont remember anything else about it.

OMG nostalgia!

My gosh, I DO remember the good old days! I know I played this at one point before in my life.... wow, that must have been so long ago, it was back in the DOS games. This is freakin awesome. X)

authorblues responds:

glad you got absorbed in the nostalgia.
HAIL the B:\ DRIVE... back in the DOS glory days.

This game is really what the title says....

This game isn't all to fun but its a free way to get down your math :) play this game if you are doing bad in math

authorblues responds:

its... 16 years old. the game is ancient. you must be fairly young if you dont remember this game. i mean, im only seventeen, and even i played this game. wow... i thought everyone knew this game.

Needs work.

There are some pretty severe problems. First, in the original version, the muncher walked from square to square instead of blipping, and a lot of the feeling of the game involved running from the different kinds of monsters. It's just silly now.

Second, I couldn't see all the numbers very clearly -- I ate a "30" because I thought it said "80" -- so I'd suggest you use a bold font.

authorblues responds:

well, on my screen resolution (1024x768, which is fairly small) all the numbers are quite clear. secondly, i did try to impliment an actual movement from square to square, but since the scripting for that felt the need to glitch itself to oblivion, i removed it in favor of a working model.

if those were the only problems, did my game really warrant a 1? i mean, couldnt you come up with something lower, as to make this seem ALL about your issues.
