It was okay, I guess...
The idea was pretty good. If you improved on some things, this movie could turn out even better. Some things you could improve on:
1) Kirby's sprites are too small. If you're gong to enlarge Whispy Woods, then enlarge Kirby himself, too
2) As you stated in the movie, this is somewhat like the game The Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time. Try something a little more original.
3) Instead of making a black line and text to show dialogue, try making a designated area for all the dialogue and make a way to distinguish who is talking. Plus, make sure that you a spelling words correctly and you're grammar is correct, too.
4) Finally, (and I think you've heard this from everyone,) get rid of the colored backgrounds from the sprites. It just doesn't make the video look entertaining and is a clear sign of an amatuer animator.
If you at least take all those things into consideration, then future videos may turn out better.

I don't know if this was random practice for you or what, but the dialogue needs work, the reference to Zelda wasn't funny at all. The second battle should be redone to make sense. Sorry.
OMFG that was good for a school project!
That was cool and i liked it a lot because i like kirby and the legend of zelda ocarina of time. (i already bought the game and have seen that part of the game)
