watch the HQ version
first I watched the version here on ng, and my first thought was crap, then I read your comment and downloaded the HQ version which is really a lot better quality wise. Anyway I really liked the idea of an all square world, but I did find some round things, the pupils (in the eye), the hookers legs looked rather round with the stockings on, the trees, maybe you could have emphasized the "i'm square"-scheme a little more on those.
I like how the lightbulb was circular and then he invents the wheel, very nice. I hope that was on purpose.
I also liked the double meaning of "The End of The World" sign at the ending:
invents the wheel -> fuck the squares, world as they know it is over
and obviously that it's the edge of the world
but I did think it was obvious that the "globe" was going to be a big old square. Also the head of the main character should have been more box-like, e.g. when you see him from the side you see more than just a line.

the pupils were square but I blured it.(no Idea why i did that)
the lightbulb was indeed rounded. That had to do with his new way of thinking.
At first cubert's head viewed from the side would be almost invisible because of the flatness but It didn't look that nice so we made it a bit thicker.
It's really nice that you noticed all those things but there is still one thing that Mathieu put in there in the form of digital text where roundness is absent. :-)

Completely new to me.
I have never seen anything quite like this before. The most remarkable things about this movie is that everything is paper based 2d, with slight variations added to make them look 3d. This is one of the most unique and stunning animations I have ever seen.

graphics weren't great, but then you were emphasising the square so i guess it wasn't too bad. i like your style...very interesting thoughts. thought the sound of the square tires made it a bit funny, especially since the police car was like that too. good job overall and i like your thought on a square world, but if one person went over, wouldn't others do it too? and if one does, woulnd' the go visit all other 5 sides of the world? just a thought! might be able to make a sequel with it!
