Reviews for "Crock Of Bach"

Haha! Fuckin' tech-metal!

Awesome dude. Really awesome.

yeah

damn groovy, but i totally like the slow down part at 1:20,and then the great doublebass action. and from which song was the original at 3:12??? pls pm me!

I agree with Adompeace...

Overall it was good, I've always been a fan of the Preludium/Ave Maria by Bach, and I've even done my own orchestration of it. You had some awesome grooves and beats... but that Carl Orff right there at the end was just WAAAY out of place. I was expecting the work to wrap back around to Preludium somehow, and then here comes O Fortuna, right out of nowhere. Good stuff overall, just work on your transitions.

Sweet remix

If you were trying to be funny with your description, then that's cool. But if you're serious, remixing classical tunes has been done a -lot- (look up 'Bond Music' on google) so it's hardly a new concept... :P
As a remix, in and of itself, it's very well done with some cool twists to it and nice instrumentation. So 9/10 to yous. :D

Fricken Awesome

Definitely a really awesome composition. I came in expecting something else, but trust me I'm not disappointed. Its a fairly original piece with some well thought out melodies as far as the drum goes for some parts. And I agree with other reviewers, a guitar would do you major justice.

Quick question though. Is that a recorded drum, or a VST Drum? If it's the latter, what is it and where can I find it. Its nice, crisp, clear, and has a perfect sounding snare.

Beegeezee responds:

This entire song was composed in Reason 4. And that drum kit sound that you hear is a refill called Reason Drum Kits. AKA the Jocke Skogg Metal Kit. Hope that helps.
