Help! I'm drowning in self pity!

I pretty much agree with suitcasemonkey (who wouldn't agree with someone called suitcasemonkey). But apart from that there were 2 things that bothered me:
1. I think the song is really cheesy and it doesn't sound all that special neither. The lyrics are cheap, weak and again cheesy. "Oh my god, nobody understands me. I don't give a damn, yet I write a song about it." "Fight the man" etc..
2. It didn't have an ending... unless you count sulking in self pity as a conclusion...

Good animation and art though, sound quality was good, really good effects. Nice audio/visual coordination.... it's just the content that bothers me ;)

So the message isn't crystal clear.

Big honkin' deal. I didn't really get it either, but then again, I'm watching it again because I really like the music (so much for a song that "no one cares about... ever) and because I want to at least TRY and understand it.

Someone said that the figures needed more "detail"? Um, what? They're not supposed to be DETAILED. I got that much of it at least.

Seriously, nice work.

i luv it

i watchd this like 20 times now, the animation is good, and i luv the song

good

i like it but i like your other stuff better and the neo volume logo reminds of salad fingers just wonderin if anybody else thinks dat

Foxcato responds:

OMG you're right! But I created that logo long before Salad Fingers hit NG.
Glad you like my films. Oh and thanks for the 10:)

Just needs a jolt..

Artistic skills are decent, and the use of some advanced flash effects was nice to see. Nevertheless, something was lacking in this film. Yes, I understand the theme (everyone wears masks, nobody understands, contemplation of suicide, then realization that nobody changes), but I wasn't very drawn in. The music choice was appealing, but overall this production needs some steroids on the storyboard to be a compelling piece.
