Reviews for "No Need for Bushido 1"

Thank you

Squeaky, if that is your real name... this is what I have been waiting for. I can't wait for everyone else to be introduced into the cutout theater... and if that isn't the case, I can't wait for them not to be introduced?
Well done and finish the next one... in due time of course.

No-Need-for-Bushido responds:

To resolve the mystery, I am Joe, the writer but wanna-be artist. Next one will be up in less than a month (might even be up next week if time allows.)

"Indy was the dog's name."

awesome!

I have been reading No Need for Bushido for quite a while now, and when i saw this here, I was very excited. I was definately NOT let down. I found that the paper-cutout idea accentuated the already great humor of NNFB and enjoyed it thuroughly. Excellent job!

No-Need-for-Bushido responds:

Thank you. Eventually we may try a non-paper-cutout style for a few important fright scenes, but for now the style allows me to grasp some basic knowledge in flash animation and turn out movies with relative frequency. There is a ton of comic to catch up to!

"They have ninjas guarding the cave!"
"They ARE ninjas, of course they have ninjas guarding the cave!"

Yorikiro Wataro is the funniest character! ^_^

The online comic is great! It's a very funny adventure. And I'm happy you made a short cartoon based on the first volume. Are these the same kind of puppets used in "Squeak's Puppet Show" on your website? Because they've been used here really well.
And how far do you intend to take the flash series? Because I would love to see more of these after the comic is finished!

No-Need-for-Bushido responds:

I plan to go as far as I can. They are based on the second squeaky's paper cutout filler, which used actual cutout paper. More NNFB flash soon!

BUAHAHAHAHA!

Awesome stuff Jaw, Prince of Darkness. The caretaker voice was hilarious. And the Ina voice was really good. Some of the dialogue was pretty unconvincing when spoken...but what can you do?

No-Need-for-Bushido responds:

What can I do? I can get better, THAT's what I can do! And I plan to :) Ina's voice is by Mindy of Doom'nStuff and the caretaker was voiced by Alex. We couldn't pass up that chance >: )

The loaf of bread that tries to twist its own fate is not a loaf at all, but a pretzel."

Looooooooooove.

I gave it 8 points for violence because, you know, that thing with the bedsheets.... outright horrible. Unspeakable. Such brutal violence...

I loved it, and I want you to make more of it, Joe! Please? Pretty please with sugar on top?

No-Need-for-Bushido responds:

with sugar on top? Well how can I refuse?

"And that is when my drinking problem started."
