i see that you have gone back a little bit to your usual arts... but still keeping a child like substance and i will explain about my feelings... most of your other work has a eerie feel to them with a goth like child with a most times depressing scene last time you did a complete 180 with looks like a small girl ready for Halloween .. adorable mind you ^_^.... but this.. this goes slight back to your eerie affect but not very much with the furry eyeball....and the child looking very happy and fun like he is out on a adventure on a furry eyeball on 6 legs.. a very gentle and very unique work of art that i will say i am enjoying this very much ... so in short a fantastic job and keep this up... this shows a gentle side of you and should be proud of it

so glad you enjoy it ^_^ and yes, this is not my usual kind of artwork, its a commisioned tutorial, and i was asked for a "children illustration". this does not mean i dont enjoy doing this kind of happy issues (maleficient is a good example hehe ) Thanks for your comment ;)
