Its sorta a good start.
Just do this.When it comes to the reading parts make A button able to speed up the words so you could read and get through it faster.Other than that its pretty humoris and seems like it'll be fun.

lol, pokemon are found everywhere, except mexico and some parts of canada, that made me laugh.
The only problem with it was that it was probably a bit too slow, well that was my only problem with it.

That wasn't bad at all. I am sure that if you made more and spent more time on it, people would enjoy it.
Like was said, the text could scroll a bit faster. Also, even if he doesn't care what your name is, you should be allowed to enter it, and then have him change it then.
Otherwise, pretty funny. Just try making it more than an intro demo.

I would reccomend that you allow the player to speed thru the text and that you enter the name even though Oak... er... Wanker doesn't give a fuck...
