Reviews for "Crimpson Battle Field"

Don't make another one...

In fact don't ever make a flash again until you get lessons from a two-year-old. Your skills might improve. And it's crimson not crimpson... idiot. Your voices were TOO QUIET! When the mouths moved half the time I didn't hear shit. This means two things.
1. You need to SPEAK MORE LOUDLY!
2. The lip-syncing SUCKED!

I don't know how this got past the NG Review Crew without a Blam.

Underworked

Pathetic. Too many times the opposing side kept scratching their heads and in many parts the lip-syncing was off. Graphics were poor and in some scenes the image was compressed, squashing the characters. Sounds were horrible and undistinguishable and the voices could hardly be heard. Work on it or wipe it out. A littles advice if you decide to continue making flashes. Next time you attempt something like this, do the opposite of everything I wrote above.
I think my score was a little bit generous in the end. This flash should not have made a decent score.

INSERT PLOT ^

Not bad for a stick figure movie. The voices were impossible to make out. Here's a hint, Flash includes controls for fading the volume of sounds in and out. So you can make the gunfire sounds get quieter while they're talking, like they do on TV. Either that, or have the guys yelling at each other and pause when there's a loud explosion.

If you decide to go with legible dialogue next time, make it interesting dialogue, too. I just realized there's no Newgrounds meter for "story." WTF is up with that? No wonder 90% of what gets submitted is music videos and stick figure skateboarding demos.

I'm gonna go on the forums and suggest that they add a "Story" category. As for you, soldier, I expect to see something more complex than "Once upon a time, some guys with guns said they were gonna do some stuff. And then they did it."

I want to see conflict, recruit. Not just a bunch of people blowing the shit out of each other, but internal conflict. He wants something, for some reason. Something he can't get just by killin' people.

All that talent....................

and you STILL HAD TO USE FUCKING STICK FIGURES. i would have given you a 10 if you didnt us stix.

O...K...

well, that was okay.
the graphics were mildly good, the animation of the people was smooth and very good, but almost everything else was choppy and sucked.
The style got a 0 because that Idea is soooooooo overused and unoriginal.
The sound was pretty bad, although the gun sounds were nice, but the voices wer terrible, you need to have something to say instead of stalling and you voice was very inaudible.
The violence was pretty good, although I would have liked it more if you animated the blood instead of doing a two frame splatter.
Interactivity and humor are self explanitory, it wasn't meant to be funny and it was a movie so naturally they both got 0.
I am looking forward to the sequel. You definately have the talent, you just need to spend a bit more time on this, but hope the sequel is much better, and I'm thinking it will. Keep up the good work!
