Reviews for "Brando - Pure & Tainted"

...

eheh just has i expected a great song once more. The song really shoes of two different sides at the same time it's like you can see anyone related to this song it's trully amazing great job brando :D

Dj-Brand0 responds:

Thanks heaps for your review. Yeah I kind of wanted to make it appealing to anybody since usually hardstyle is directed at people who like it because generally not everyone's not going to like it at the first listen.

Thanks again!

A Beautiful Composition

There's nothing better than a Piano piece. I've always seemed to love the wondrous sounds it can make. I like the way you took virtually a hardstyle melody and adapted it into a wonderful song on the Piano. You have very real skill, I'm sure your teacher will be very proud of your work. If not he has no taste in music.

Dj-Brand0 responds:

Hey :D Glad you liked the song. Yeah she should like it heaps, she better :C lol. Yeah the melody started off classical then hardstyle and i figured I had to change it back to classical. My original ideas took over and i got carried away.

But again, glad you liked it :D

Thanks for the review.

Piano is cool.
Like me.

5/5 10/10
Just cuz I thought it had some easy feelings in it, sounded very same in the whole song, no change but thats piano so......

Dj-Brand0 responds:

Haha yeah you're pretty piano cool! :3

Haha yeah I understand you but when you said it sounded very the same in the whole song. Really that's not piano, piano is REALLY unique and progressive. I guess I didn't do it right :\

But yeah, thanks heaps for the review!

Very good!!! No Seriously!

The Piano is a very complicated instrument, I dare say it helped music in itself grow. You too know how to use the Piano well, Great piece!

The transition between good and evil is subtle, you know your there when you've gotten to the evil part, yet you don't know how you've got there. Slightly losing the past from the present.

Don't really have any more complaints from here on out, can't wait to hear a seven minute composition from you.

Dj-Brand0 responds:

To start it off, I don't know how I'd manage to make a 7 minute composition without repeating bits. It would blow me away if I could do that lol. but in my eyes that seems far away.

Yeah I put the two themes close together because I thought it would sound pretty good, since both of the opposites are so far apart yet they come together so quickly. :D (Extra Analysis?) ^.^

Glad you liked it :D

it sounds interesting

personally i think there should be more volume/velocity differences in the piano. Add some crescendos and stronger notes to give it more definition, at least a little. In my opinion anyway :P

Also, I think this is classical because of the strings that come in the second half and the intro. But it is pretty upbeat for classical.

Pretty good though!

Dj-Brand0 responds:

Yeah I suppose it is pretty upbeat, I mean the only classical I would really listen to and the closest I probably have had a deep listen into is hardstyle piano solos, and that was my inspiration for this.

I suppose giving the notes some definition would make it sound much better. I did something along the lines of that but what I did wasn't as detailed as what I'm thinking about doing now. I guess I could do that, but I'm pretty happy with what's here at the moment. I'll see what happens when I get to the hardstyle version.

I'm glad you liked it man. :D

I'm liking these range of style choices. It's getting me experimenting heaps, which I've pretty much always been doing.

Thanks for the review.
