The real reason I hate emo is the attitude. Fine the music sucks, and so does the fasion, but I can live with that, its just the 'Emos not a fasion statment or music preference, its a way of life!' to which i say 'BULLSH*T'
its just a fad, and like all fads, will go away in a relativly short period of time. Its the replacment of grunge, which went the same way. Musical taste has nothing to do with my dislike for emo.
And, as a final point, Emo stands for emotional right? suggesting that only emo has the power to render an emotion in the listener. Well, I hate to break it to you emo preachers, all music will fall into this class. Even metal is emotional. Anger is an emotion. Right or wrong?
