It wasn't bad...it wasn't GREAT, but it definately wasn't bad. The animation was well done, compared to most I've seen. I understand what you mean about voice acting, having been on stage myself. Some voices will be easier for you than others, you just need to find your voice range (high or low).
...I rather enjoyed the part where Snake starts throwing random objects at Mantis. :)
