Pretty solid, trick is to actually lvl a bit just like in old rpgs! May be possible to beat without doing so... but I didn't have much luck my first go.
Shelter use is good for starters.

Wow, Cool!
This is some fun stuff! Not that expanding or epic, but it's some nice game-play and some intense fun, for sure.
It's a good concept, but lacking greatly.
From what I've seen, the 'random' encounters are too frequent, there needs to be something like CT, maybe a few walkaround areas like Guardia Forest or the Labs from the Future. There needs to be a 'save' thing for when you are about to fight a boss and don't want to play over and over again. The intro was nice enough and the fighting system could use a little polishing (I'll be in a battle and my items screen will suddenly disappear when an enemy attacks), and the damage system could use a little less variation. Though I know nothing about making a game, I am an avid player. This has a lot of potential.

Not bad. not bad at all. When I fought larvos I wasn't sure if I could beat since it was right after the first boss. It had no health counter but I kept fighting it and won. It was pretty good though.
