Gosh, this is really life like! The proportions are elegant, the white coat adding a certain amount of flowing nature to the subject of your sister. The serenity of her mood and pose shows that she is at peace. There's a certain strength- in a powered down nature- that's displayed as well. I would have had increased the darkness of a few of the shadows (specifically for the lower right hand corner and on the left shoulder, seeing as how its not on the lit side) and a few more folds in the coat. A little bit of contrast would have made this better, too. Would love to see more.

You strike me as an artist. I see a lot of illustrators and designers, but your work and the way you talk make me think you see your work as something more connective and outside yourself, as well as inside. There are things you could improve on of course (as there are for everyone on the planet), but your skills are very refined and I look forward to seeing what else you make! This piece is fantastic by the way, the folds in the cloth and shading, the clear representation and accuracy of proportions, shape and anatomy. You've done very well! Adding this, and you, to my favorites. Keep it up!
