The Ultimate Narrative Cop-out!
This was a well-animated piece with pretty good pacing and music. There was a fine buildup of tension--completely wasted by the "I'm glad it was just a dream" ending (the ultimate narrative cop-out since time immemorial). I'm giving that ending away here just so the next person won't be pissed (in the American sense) when the cat wakes up and nothing else happens. I'm not looking for violence or gore as the author of the piece seems, from his comments, to fear. I'm looking for anything well-crafted and entertaining. This piece was on its way to being being both, but it threw in the towel in the third reel. I'll definitely check out the author's other work, though, as there's definite potential here.
it was all just a dream
I liked the humorous style used here and it was kind of an adventure but a lot of things let it down.
First off, graphics could of been cleared up a bit and the real plotline wasnt really understood very well.
Secondly, the film progressed too slowly and the animations were nothing special. This could be made into a more slick and excitng flash as it ended out a bit pointless in the end as it was that typical 'oh thank goodness it was all just a dream' scenario.
And thirdly, whilst I liked the voicover of the cat he didnt speak too much which was a shame, and for some of those parts speaking I could hear a muffling on the microphone which is a pity.

the cat was gorgeous and the background was very good, however the styles mark came down because you spoiled the ending by making it a dream. there are millions of twists you could have concucted to place at the end, but you prefered the dream. i wasnt to proud of the irritating music, although it did suit the mental state of the frightend cat ill give you a 5 for sound, but you could have made the voice more clear.

Ok first of all that shit was just scary...that dog looked like Yoda in a head lock...and the cat was freakier then hell...o well loved the music
