DMC3 ripoff.

I would reccomend only getting the music from the games, not the entire menu system, ability purchase system, and even the attacks and timed press interface. The stating weapons is pretty much a Beowulf carbon copy. Also, I suggest making a better character, not Rayman with Dante's shitty hair and attitude. It looks terrible. Overall, pretty promising, but 0 creative content.

Right well , The problem is is that devil may cry 3 has almost every kind of weapon including a demonic guitar , point being , Jalapeno used the martial art style of combat for the past , well year in a half dmc 3 came out in march and ill admit that ch4 was a complete DMC3 rip off but oh well , I was overly excited from DMC3 it rocked , though I still dont know WTF raymand is ??????
point being , the menu system is nothing like DMC 3's not that can remember anyways , maybe it is , meh

I liked this game a lot but you, I'm really looking forword to the full game. I had a lot of fun playing this game but for future references you should mix the enemies up a little bit. I liked the look of the weapons and the the attacks were awesome! The story rocked too. Overall this game kicked alot of ass.

Well , it's really promising knowing that this is a demo , but without seeing the full version im guessing its not gonna be a side scroller , is it?
Well anyway , i like the style , well the way u animate , though i dont like how it's drawn. You got cool moves and everything but overall , it's just a demo ^^.

Comments and Suggestions...

I really like the direction this series had been going... the controls really tightened up over the different versions and everything is almost perfect now, there's a small bug where enemies may occasionally get stuck in the hit frame in midair, but I'm sure it's something that'll get fixed eventually.

Some suggestions:

- You might want to use keydown/keyup to get your inputs instead of lastkey capture, because lastkey capture counts repeating keystrokes, which breaks a lot of my combos when the game unintentionally registers repeated keystrokes.

- Air control can use some tightening up... it's really annoying when some of the air attacks (hell raiser, eagle strike) gets comboed into another eagle strike instead of a heaven fall (which connects much better). To make things simple, you might just want to restrict air attacks to spinning crescent/hell raiser/heaven fall... since you can recover from the jump fast enough to continue the combo anyway.

- The timing window between eagle strike and dragon's fury is too close - I often pulled eagle strike instead of dragon's fury (you can see that I don't like eagle strike very much). maybe you should make dragon's fury forward+d+d and eagle strike no-direction+d+d?

- The weapon feels very tacked on right now.. it doesn't do anything that continuous smacking can't do. Maybe it'll become more useful when you have more than one enemies on the screen at once.
