Good concept and artistic skills. It is however disjointed, in that it feels like two concepts lobbed together. Maybe it would work better with a less rigid forms factor.

Fantastic! reminds me of howls moving castle, where howl turns into a monster bird/man thing, looks like the details on those feathers were painful.....

Aye, those feathers were a pain in my ASS to do... but I prevailed! :D and they turned out Decent! :D (I think I literally killed an Entire Sharpie pen doing this piece...)
Really good my dear, you deserve that frontpage. I really dig the very black ink blended with the graphite which make a really good mixture, keep up the great work.
