Thought this wouldn't make it
I felt like reviewing this, but when I saw the score after I voted, I thought: "meh this is gonna get blammed anyway". For some weird reason it has been saved so here's the review. It's not really a very good game, but I've seen worse. There were a lot of things that you should add and things that needed a little improvement.
First of all, you should add some music and sounds. Those will make the game a lot more interesting. Ask around the BBS if you dunno were to find them. Second, you need to work a bit on the graphics. They weren't really that good. You also need to add a background. Third, the black round thingies seem to come out of nowhere. When those enemies were at the bottom of the screen and even outside the screen those round things still kept coming. You also need add something so that those enemies can not go outside of the screen. Fourth, you should add some special effects. Stuff like explosions when you lose a life. Fifth, I think it would be cool if you added some powerups. You know, stuff like missiles, double lazers, something that gives you extra speed, something that protects you for a short while etc. That'll make the game a lot less boring.
Overall I'd give this game 3 out of 10, 1 out of 5. It's quite rare that something with such a low filesize passes judgement. It's also pretty hard to believe that you spended so much time on this. Maybe you should make some sprite movie next time, I think they're easier to make (not sure though). Anyway, I hope that you'll improve with flash. Keep on practicing I'd say. Good luck with any other future projects.
