Reviews for "Stage Fright"

Hmmmmmm...

GRAPHICS(4/5) - Again, well drawn. There was more animation in this flash than there was in "The Crazy Guy!!", but not as much as in "The Little Girl". Still the flames were well drawn, but you didn't show her run out of the building or anything like that. More could be done on this.
STYLE(3/5) - Didn't particularly appeal to my taste, and it was kind of short...it also had some plot holes...what exactly caused the school to burn down? Maybe I'm just slow, lol
SOUND(3/5) - It fit the flash, I suppose. I didn't take off due to a lack of sound effects, I just thought you could have found a better sound track. Like, have the music change to something scary or frightening when the building starts burning down.
OVERALL/room for improvement - Add more animation. Make it longer and explain more of what is going on. The flash was kind of confusing. Make the music more interesting. Other than that, nice work. An average flash.

3/5

:o)

This was so good - I'm a big fan of all your stuff!

FUCKING PIECE OF CRAP!!

Ok, seriously, kate towell or what the fuck...this cartoon, was so damn idiotic and bad, i just..like...omg, this thing sucked really hard!!! You Suck Katy!!

Very... child-like.

I don't mean the graphics sucked or that was simplisitic in any way; but it is very similar to how a child thinks and feels. Or, at least, how I thought and felt when I was a small child. Of course, I also told everyone about my sisters in Mexico that had been gunned down by soldiers on a beach, and my favorite movie was "Bram Stoker's Dracula" until I first saw "Tank Girl." It is all very logical; she's afraid and the audience members are all happy and attentive, wearing their "encouraging" expressions that make you terrified of disappointing them and she forgets what she was doing and starts crying and figures it would make the show stop if the building were on fire, but she and her Monkey would escape, except she doesn't really want that to happen because it would hurt everyone...
This is actually a legitimate train of thought that I, for one, followed often and still do occasionally, in varying forms.
Graphics, animation, all that were very nice; sound was non-commital, but in a good way. As you may have gathered, it conveyed an image and story very well in my opinion. More subtle use than most of integrating imagination into the story, though that may not be valid if my interpretation isn't accurate, which is entirely possible.

Just one thing, SOCK MONKEY!

not sure bout this entry but I loved the sock monkey. Why did the crowd catch on fire? The monster represent the stage fright but the fruition of the fire to burn the theatre down only makes the crowd onfire more curious, cause it wasn't stage fright that caught them on fire. I love the animation style, very nice.
