Seriously, this is getting annoying. The same shit happens with my songs, and I hate it, i don't know if you would, personally.
But you know when you make a new song and post it, you're happy about it, right?
Well, time goes by, people like it, and over time, a lot of people start reviewing it nicely, but you look at the downloads/favs/views and their ratios are bad.
I mean this song is so excellent yet its gone underrated. This needs to stick out more and have more attention, its brilliant.
I swear, people never look at the structure of the song, they only go by what they like/dislike, so biased here. We should have only artists reviewing other people's work....
Nonetheless, onto my review.
You have an absolutely stunning set of sounds in this piece, lots and lots of energy, and huge amounts of orgasms. I haven't heard the original, and I don't want too, this is absolutely amazing. You have a great percussion, great amount of sounds that sound as if they were meant to be put this way into a song. Its almost holy.
The other incredible thing is that you made a 6 minute song, while keeping energy and constant changes throughout it, and did them naturally, which takes a lot of time and work, with loads of effort, in my perspective. The glitches you have throughout the song, make the style a kind of its own. The acid sounds are just a killer in this one, they are what catch your attention, and make you plead for more. My most absolute favorite part is at 3:35 where the native middle eastern verse starts and then goes on too sync into the rest of the song, and it fits so perfectly....

About the underrating thing, it's true that sometimes it is very frustrating when you submit a good song and you don't get any exposure. Still, newgrounds is probably one of the best portal i've seen. I never got why, but people here seems to enjoy giving their opinion, they aren't individualist. Sometimes artists here will review to have reviews back, but I am still very impressed on how much attention I am getting here compared to other places.
I stil believe that real good artist here will always, on day or another, have the right exposure they deserve. It's sure that if you submit only one hit song, people probably just won't see it anywhere. So all you have to do is to keep active and wish for a gentle mod to find your awesome song and put it on the front page.
So I don't really care about the everage newground's comunnity judment, I will always find here 4000 more listens and 40 more reviews on every tracks of mine than anywhere else on the web. Hapilly, I always get some great reviews on my song. And you're better put a great song and get 4 reviews on it than putting it on myspace and get absolutely nothing :)
And all thanks to Newground's flash portal, witout this, we wouldn't have a so great audio portal!
