Confusing

This game was great until I got thrown into the prison by the sphynx. I've tried everything on that remote, typing wind/water, fire, sun, and tree, everything. There is no way to know what to do. Without a slight hint, its impossible and very frustrating. Please help us out on this, and if anyone figured it out, please let us know! Thanks!

on the second puzzle look at the pictures water= blue sun=yellow fire= red and tree=green their in a order try that i am.
