Reminds me of why I used to think Spidey was cool.
Blah, I only scanned over some of the reviews, and as usual as when I write one, I greatly disagree with them.
Style--Whopping 10, under the condition of it having been made in 2000. This alone wouldn't justify this rating. The reason I give it the full 10 on Style is because in my personal taste, your short animation captures the essence of the original comics much better than the two current "blockbusting" motion pictures (of which I am not a fan of).
Graphics--I think 7 is justified, because where it's low on animation, the drawings are high on style. I think you just did a good job in conveying the general mood of the comic book series.
Sound--the sound effects seemed weak and I'd expect a louder ambient of sound effects to orchestrate the animation, in reference to New York City and things like the Goblin's glider, but they held and I also consider the low filesize in this. Music however, was very good.
Final note: What might have helped for better reviews is a nice little ending gag; as in after it seems to be over, that Goblin gets tangled up in Spidey's preemptively prepared web. ;)
