Reviews for "Rihm & Maurice 5"

pretty good

I gave you a 4, you would of had a 5 if not for 2 things. Mainly was the fact that this seemed like a watered down ren and stimpy episode. but also was the bad voice acting on the cat, he sounded kinda like a red neck, when a more distinguished or arrogant voice would of suited him better.
PS that cat needs an eye doctor, cuz that was a lot o blood, Nice Work!

Not bad

It was ok, the animation seemed a little choppy in some areas. The scene where cat guy throws a punch, takes wayyy to long. You might wanna shorten that up.

Getting there....

Not too bad, for a short. I guess the only comment I have is about some of the animation. What made a lot of the moments in Ren & Stimpy stand out is minimal animation with short, quick bursts of large, dramatic movement. If Rihm were to have taken small, drowsy steps to his chair and then jumped into it all wacky-like, it may seem funnier than bouncing the whole way, because there's a change in energy level involved.

I like the way the punch was animated, but it may have gone on a wee bit long. Huge pauses like that are usually followed by unexpected actions... for instance the fly that came out of the box getting in the way of Rihm's fist and breaking his hand or something. I was expecting him to get hit in the face, and that's what I got, so I didn't think it was funny. The small ricochet off the moon, however, was very unexpected and made me laugh out loud, as did the eyeballs at the end. You certainly have talent, just keep up the good work and maybe study John K's animation a little more closely if you want to make a really outstanding tribute. :-)

Once Again, Well Done

Apart from the pilot, this is the first R&M I've seen with voice acting... and surprisingly enough, it's not complete rubbish. The whole "hand VS face" segment seemed a little drawn-out, but then that's probably to co-ordinate with the music.

Good use of the tradition 'sign language' near the end, and the eyeball trick... great way to end it.

There's only one thing I'm concerned about. The music you use as the ending theme for every R&M episode... where does it come from?

Other than that, high marks and a thumbs up.

all over something silly

jeez, angry all over a box of Sugar Frosted Kidney Stones? shesh. lol. great series...make a new one soon!
