Reviews for "FlashTrek: Broken Mirror"

Good

How do you get to Pirates Haven?

Well...

This game really is THE best game i have ever played online. It's sad that you stopped making the second one because it was looking so good. The A.I is sort of stupid in this game but, it's a flash game, you don't get F.E.A.R styled A.I so no loss for points there. Although the things like pirates heaven are cool and all, you should have made it more of a "Quest" type of thing. Planet Error does suck, and i think that trading should be a bit less random. I hate how once you conquer your first planet for yourself, you are getting more money a day then you would in 50 days of traveling to sell your cargo... Also, when i buy things, i notice that I don't always pay the price of what it says, like when i bought Away team training, it said it was 1000 or so, but i only payed about 150. Overall, amazing game though.

P.S
Uberroxth, it was just a skilled pilot, get over it :P

And for those who don't know how to conquer planets, you just have to lower the planets strength to 0 then leave some ships there and fly around to other planets, after a bit it should say that "Planet X has lost 1 billion population due to lack of protection. Once there is 0 pop on the planet you can then press the "T" button to take it over. And you can get away team training at Delpi.

Fine but...

There are some glitches. There's this bug with planet 'Error', where seemingly all your destroyed ships go, and when you exit, you have NAN latinum. Also the station destruction is determined by random. (ex. A fleet from Lysia has destroyed station The Strongest Station Ever, a Dyson Sphere) That fleet could just be a Lysian fighter. There should be some common sense. At least I was able to dominate the entire game, including Dyson and Pirate's Haven with 500+ trade shipes and 200+ military ships and about 300+ others. The number of latinum I have goes off screen, same with the duranium. I also have a Uber ship. To get one, either enable the plugin or conquer the quadrant for a faction (Tholian, Human, Klingon, Dominion, Caddarassian). There's a station in Paso (just keep on going south east) that sells a powerful ship; just don't let it die. There's also a cloaked station south west of Remus that sells the Warbird, but decloak it first. However, the AI is very unintelligent, stations won't always build (Vegas bug), and the random station destroy calculation isn't always realistic.

For autosave, it automatically saves each time you hail a planet, and this game is where you make your own history. Again, overall it was good. BM2 was supposed to come out form beta, but it was scrapped.

amazing

I played this 1-2 years ago but i didnt review it.. but heres my review now =P

=Pros=
Wide gameplay, huge array of items, and large map. good humor and has a level of difficulty that appeals to all gamers. I like the difficulty of raising a fleet and an empire, and battle scenes are quite fun. gameplay is very tense at all times, and im alert all the time.

=Cons=
slightly unintelligent AI script, bland graphics. Penalty for losing is complete start over, which i, personally dont like.

=Suggestions=
more obvious autosave (if there is one, im not sure), checkpoints/save points for playing, and possibly a story plot =)

this game is great; make another!

Great game!!! I <3 eet!!!!!

To take a planet you need to reduce its strength to zero then beam your away team on it, or if you're lucky the planet will just randomly make you king LOL!!! Anyway i owned 4 planets....a huge fleet of sovereigns and negvars...and i pilot a sovereign....sovs are great because theyre agile and strong AT THE SAME TIME!!! plus i think they look kewl...i need help on getting 2 rare shipd...the bioship and the thing with a deflector...i already got a borg cube....suckz....
