Reviews for "Holy Sword 5"

Good, but not perfect

It was a good movie, albeit a bit slow paced. The graphics were pretty bad compared to most other flashes. But making graphics on a computer is a pretty tough job.

An undignified heap of unoriginality.

Although you are VERY talented and it shows, this seems to me like just a moving doodle on your notepad at school at best. Thrown together cause you were bored, doesn't really have any meening to speak of except for drawing a fight and some cool special effects. It doesn't even capture the "Good vs evil" theme very well... It's just a bunch of very familiar things meshed together in an undignified heap of unoriginality (Soul Caliber, Ganon, Naruto, and I'm sure I've seen an armored ninja with an arm cannon before somewhere too). Great animation though and the choice of music (although WAY TOO LOUD) was good, but unless there's an origin story I missed somewhere, it's -only- good. Finally, I gotta say I loved the part where you suddenly switched to black and white linedoodles to show off the devistation lazer attack thingie the armored ninja thing fired and destroyed his own arm with...

Wow man this one is Tight

I love the music at the end and when the bad guy multiplies and yea i loved it! keep making movies Cause u GOD!

GREAT!

i just love your style and I thought this movie was amazing keep on makin movies i love them so! :-D

It was a good flash but....

The author here basically ripped off both Soul Caliber and Onimusha. The sword with the eye looks a lot like oh I forget the name but the evil soul caliber hting and the gun the guardian had looked a lot like Onimusha 2's end form of the hero.

SamurEYE responds:

haha well you read my mind in some of your comments. yes, the sword with the eye was practically based on the soul edge, and i did kinda rip off the ogre gun. but the gun part was more of a metroid prime inspiration rather than onimusha. thanks for noticing tho :)
