Amazing!
I agree with dr_shadow. This is an astounding peice! I can't wait to go back and watch the rest of them... the voiceacting in particular hit the nail on the head for me. I love it. I can only hope I can find voice actors as good as this for my own seiries (which will be SO MUCH LESS astounding than yours in the end.) Great flash, keep it up - can't wait for episode 6!

I just hope that this isn't another series that is left halfway along the road... It has happened to so many series here on newgrounds, that I fear for it everytime I see this kind of quality... don't let this project die...
Epic and well thought out
The graphics are superb. Animation is superb. Storyline is superb. Storytelling is superb (it takes more than just a good story to make a good story). Vision is also superb (vision makes a story an epic). All these qualities coming together in 1 person would be absolutely remarkable. It would be more believable if SirGaryColeman is a collaborative effort. You did not give your name, perhaps it is because you have many names? In any case, so far, you have crafted a unique piece of work that easily stands up on its own merit against any of the all time best. I can see that you have squeezed nearly everything you can out of your medium.
It's just so good
Graphics- The graphics are easy on the eyes, and isn't diffucult to follow. I like the way you animate your characters.
Style- The first thing I thought of when I saw the Trog city was the old Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring animated movie from a long time ago. It fits in perfectly for the story.
Sound- The music fits in perfectly with the story, and surroundings.
Violence- There wasn't any violence in this chapter, not that it needed violence.
Interactivity- Nice drop down menu to access various commands.
Humor- No humor, but who cares?! It doesn't need humor!
Overall- This is an excellently made flash. In time, I will watch the rest of the story. I believe Shades of Grey is one of those flashes that you MUST SEE when in Newgrounds.
