Reviews for "Elf Hunter"

Not bad, but I'd like to see more...

Okay, I'm not really quite sure what I just saw...

In any case, it wasn't altogether that bad of a flash. I couldn't tell that the things were supposed to be elves (like another reviewer said, they looked more like gnomes), and the lack of background hurt it a little.

All in all, I think you might have something on your hands...If you keep working on it.

Oh yeah -- the music was sweet. Me First and the Gimme Gimmes rock!

More like gnome hunter...

those "elves" as you call them look nothing of the sort. I liked the animation, kinda, but it needs color and more detail. but if your going for short and simple graphics I guess that's fine too.

Score : 59.30% = C

Eh.

Why is a man singing the womans part of The Phantom of the Opera? Anyway, that had style, but was quite random; had no plot.

hthedinga responds:

It's quite random because my flash skills highly dictated the direction of the animation. The band Me First and the Gimme Gimmes cover songs of many genres whether they're sung by a man or woman originally.

For a test, it's good.

You said it's a test. At first, I was expecting pixelated stick men, choppy animations that didn't fit the sound, and overall "suck."

But no!

It's pretty good. The animation looks nice. Just add more detail and make it longer. Make the elves look MORE LIKE ELVES. You know. Giant pointy ears or something.

hthedinga responds:

Haha, That "elf" came from moving the mouse around quickly. That's the basis for this, moving the mouse around quickly and seeing what it looks like. Thanks for the (+) review. I've actually since abandoned the elf or gnome idea and am working on something totally different.

Nice animation

Good use of animation. Flowed very well. The characters were hard to comprehend (couldn't tell what what was what) and the angles weren't dynamic. Still, the music added to the comedy and sort of fit the peice. good job!

hthedinga responds:

Thanks dude. I had trouble lining the song up with the animation, but at one point everything was lined up. I could definately use some work with changing the angles.
