the characters from different FF games sort of reminds me of the "Final Fantasy Fighting" series, but that's okay, because it's good too!
you had great sprites, but you could try to increase the speed a little bit

only thing I didn't enjoy was it's speed. Kind of slow (action/movement).

POOR Umaro... anyway nicely done, original, good story line. Ummm did you use a Locke sprite to make Squalls?... thats what it looks like, I think you did, just colored other areas and ditched the bandana. Anyway I liked it good job, just for next time don't add some much to read so might lose interest. Good job 5/5 and good luck!
Actually I found that Squall sprite from fffin-website, but I admit it kinda looks like Locke.
