"Overall" is not necessarily an average
And I'm giving you an "overall" score of 4 (below average) because of your execution. I dunno what they teach over there at CalArts, but i really think they should start emphasising more on PRODUCTION FORMATS. Mind you, your art is great as well as the story and sound but your delivery fails on one thing - YOU USE FLASH FOR A BITMAP-BASED MOVIE!?
Let me try to explain: YOU DONT USE FLASH FOR MOVIES THAT USE BITMAPS FRAME BY FRAME.
Reason 1: It's inconvenient. Even as a locally-run file, it'll be slow unless:
Reason 2: You have to optimize your bitmaps to hell, to the extent that the quality degrades significantly
Reason 3: You have better alternatives: QuickTime format, .AVI, DIV-X are just some of your better alternative formats for delivery (and compression)
Reason 4: It's just bloody wrong to use Flash if there isn't going to be any interaction/vector graphics.
You're a good artist and you've worked hard on this. But it IS important to understand file formats an applications for delivery if you want to work in the big world.
