Pink is less threatening.
I guess that's why he's that color. But overall it adds to his creepiness... he's like a colorful clown who seems to amuse but is secretly plotting something else. I like his monologue, very sci-fi nerdy lol.

The dialouge's the best part of this movie, like most of Matzerath's work. It's not as witty as some of his later films, but it's worth a watch.
