Reviews for "Rumble ball field 1"

The sound!

I think the sounds were awesome, how it would play an arpeggio. Also how if you hit different colored blocks, different notes were played. I think it was cool. I really like how there wasn't a time limit, which some people might enjoy that though I'm not one of them, if it had a time limit I might not've gotten past level one. I was having too much fun playing with the sounds. ^_^

GameBalance responds:

Thanks! I'm not going to put the time limit or traps in the game.

From One Front Page Game Designer to Another...

Wow.

That was simple, fun, aesthetically pleasing, and the sounds ruled. Definately going into my favorites. Nicely done.

GameBalance responds:

Thanks!!!

AWESOME

I loved the sound effects. So awesome. That is why you got the humor points. THe noises were so musical and happy. I fucking loved them. Keep it up dude.

GameBalance responds:

Thanks a lot!

Rumble ball... the game... that rumbles you.

This is, quite simply, one of the BEST puzzle games on NG (And that's no surprise considering it was none other than the designer of ORBOX, my fave game from March! Thanks for submitting another game to NG, Arseniy!). In some ways, it's almost like a pool or arkanoid/breakout game, but I call it a puzzle game because... despite the fact that you simply collect all the blocks and dots in each of 5 levels, the CHALLENGE aspect is in figuring out the best way to do so to maximise your score.

My top score is currently around 14,500 for all five levels, while my girlfriend has broken 16,000. She's played it about 20 times to my 5 times, though. She absolutely loves it. And so do I! We both demand more levels. #;-}>

In all seriousness, if you never add levels to this game, then PLEASE at least consider releasing a sequel to NG. It would be QUITE awesome. Besides new levels, the only thing I can think of that would add to the experience... would be a third type of scoring item besides the blocks and chime-causing dots. Not that a third is necessary, but it would be a fun add on.

Anyway, I enjoy how smooth the gameplay is, even on my ancient computer. Everything LOOKS nice, especially the backgrounds and border blocks, and the experience of lining up a perfect shot to hit 5 dots, bounce off a wall and hit 5 more dots... is quite fun. As is the chime scale that results from hitting so many dots in a row! I've strung together a chain that reached 140 points on the final (14th) dot or block... meanwhile, my gf has hit 150 and now even 160. You've given us quite a lot of fun challenges, and the game's replayability factor is one of its best attributes. GREAT JOB! As usual!

GameBalance responds:

??? I mean WOW! What a touching big review!!! I have some more levels allready with a third type of scoring item like you said. It's +50 and x2. But I don't know about to submit it. I was thinking to make some chalenging field to submit (Many people want to die somhow). Anyway check the field number 2 at my site. I selected some cool colors.
Thanks a lot!!!
P.S.
I can get up to 180-200(with blocks) using diagonals to get 2 lines together. In field 2 you can get to 300up.

Hey! This is a fun game for people to play.

This game is cool, but it needs music too not only the sound when you collect the circles or break the bricks. Hey but its still fun to play. You get a 10.
