It was ok... the lava need to be a more obvious killin thing... its not nice to get to the third lvl to die when you walk on something unregognisable. Other then that, good game :)

A near masterful work in true Newgrounds style
You hit the nail right on the hammer with this one. A simple game that's very easy to pick up and play, but coupled with a unique art style and a dramatic musical score right out of the gate. My only beef with your game is that the level design is broken. Walking on various platform levels often results in faling off of them, and there is no proper command for walking up and down staircases, resulting in a lot of accidental mishaps when fighting near them.
Well, keep up the good work, and consider a sequel. Perhaps with additional features of some kind, but at least with improved level design.

Best hack n' slash I've played since Ocarina of Time. It's tricky at first, but once you master the controls, it's perfect. You could have a few more lives, though, because your enemies are as strong as you.
