Reviews for "Pico groove (Pico day)"

OK song

Seen better to be honest but this one stands out in a special way

hopeku responds:

There is always better my friend!

Funksta

where's the bass? other than that, this songs pretty good. if you need to, listen to some funk to get a better idea. it works for me lol then you might remix it to the max funky level! XD good job!

hopeku responds:

Well, I wasn't aiming true funk music you know..it was just for a little game but thanks!

Hmm

Definitely some interesting beat you have there.

But for some reason I can't seem to get it out of my head that this was inspired by Sonic's Marble Zone theme....

hopeku responds:

I never played any sonic games. It's still interesting cause you're the third person to bring me that quote.

...

This is bad. In all honestly, I'm sure this is only on the front page in the audio portal merely because it contained the word "Pico". Try harder next time.

hopeku responds:

Wow, you seem to detain the answer of all everything.

...

the song did not loop properly if that is what you were looking for. the sounds are too synthy for funk music, it sounds like it was done completly with soft synth and samplers. the drums need some eq and the mixing of the drums to the main tracks need to be fixed.

don't take this the wrong way i ask everyone. was this created all on computer or did you play any of the instruments

hopeku responds:

The song doesn't loop properly cause It was first meant to be looped without the introduction. In fact, in ''A bad taste of pico", the song's introduction was supposed to play once during the game's introduction, and then the main part of the song was supposed to loop during the rest of the level but Joelasticot had some problems programming it.

I don't take it the wrong way, and everything was created on the computer.

Thanks for the review man!
