I thought this was a Half Life flash for a moment, since Victor looks a lot like Gordan Freeman when he's older.
The story is pretty interesting. And I found it hilarious how the music got all upbeat and happy when his parents were getting killed. The silent movie style for that part of the story was a nice touch as well. Very unique. Looking forward to the next one.
