Reviews for "D-fence 2 !!"

Very well done.

Overall awesome, but any changes I would have:
-More weapons after assult rifle (rockets, lazers, emp, or whatever)
-Explosives like claymores or other mines.
-Building options for walls and trenches.
-More Enemies.
-Long range defenses (artilary)
-Unit upgrades for marines (better weapons or something)
-Maybe after 3000 rounds make it go on for limitless play or unlockables etc.

Awesome game, very few glitches, very entertaining.

I appologize for my spelling, i have the english skills and vocabulary of a 6 year old.

Good luck in the future.

Very sweet.

It's like Sim City, but with killing 'n stuff.

Yeah, I dominated it also. But it was great every step of the way.

Great city defense strategy game

First off, very good job. I love building/defense games like this, and can't wait for the updated version. However, being a Newgrounds reviewer, I have to offer a touch of constructive criticism as well.

Things you did well:
-3D Graphics were excellent
-Prices for leveling up structures were well toned to what they did, so a player did best if they too a risk and put buildings where the enemy could get to them
-Early building game (to turn 500) is very fun, and edgy, especially since you have to deal with the terror of occasional high-powered vehicles early on when your static defenses aren't ready for them, so you have to keep your cursor guns loaded, which costs money.

Things that need work:
- Introduction is good, but very long, and gets in the way when trying to play the game a second time. The Skip button works, but you have to jam it fast because it disappears in two seconds.
- While enemy vehicles can take all the buildings on one street, they seem to do little damage to the City health. I almost never got damaged, and wondered how to lose the game.
- While the enemy gains strength about the same rate as you build up your resources up to about turn 1000, after that the -frequency- of the enemy appearing never seems to grow, still just small sorties here and there, which are mostly now doomed to die on your defensive line. The "2x enemy strength" at 1500 is ok, but by that time you've much more than doubled your power, and are still in a huge lead over the other side.
- It takes a LONG time to zone your city, going block by block. Since most buildings are upgradeable, it would have really helped to have major chunks of the place aready dished out into residential, industrial and military zone, perhaps with one building in each to make it more clear to the player which color did what.

Good but hard

It's a pretty good game but I didn't understand how to change people into soldiers or workers and i always lost cause i got no income.
